TCS – The proof is in the pudding

Just like many successful brands, this product was developed between the humble walls of a double garage by the company's owner and CEO, Mr Laubscher.

The rainy season is here and if you’ve suffered a roof leak over the past couple of weeks, now is the time to fix it. Having a roof leak during a rainstorm isn’t exactly fun – especially if you aren’t home to deal with it right away.

Water damage can cost thousands of rands to repair. Often, furniture and flooring need to be replaced completely as roof leaks sometimes come unexpectedly. In some cases your roof might appear to be healthy, but it might be damaged or worn and in need of repairs.

Whatever the damage, The Cradle Super Seal (TCS) is here to help. TCS is a waterproofing company whose dynamic and dedicated team pride themselves in their product’s ability to waterproof almost any surface.

Just like many successful brands, this product was developed between the humble walls of a double garage by the company’s owner and CEO, Mr Laubscher.

“I was in the construction industry for about 25 years before I developed the product. It was only about 12 years ago that I started to venture into the waterproofing business,” he said.

“It took me a few years to fully develop a waterproofer that’s efficient, durable and applicable to almost every surface. I am proud to announce that this product is the first of its kind and only manufactured by TCS.”

By now you should know that this isn’t your average waterproofing product as this 3-in-1 waterproofer has so much more to offer. It’s a primer and sealant, and is available in virtually any colour you can think of.

According to Mr Laubscher it takes about three days in total to fully waterproof the average roof. This includes the preparation and two coats of waterproofing.

This will leave your roof maintenance-free for the next 10 years. Mr Laubscher is so confident in his tried-and-tested product that it even comes with a ten-year warrantee if your entire roof is being sealed by The Cradle Super Seal (TCS).

This warrantee is valid for any surface on which you wish to apply the product. This includes surfaces such as roofs, walls, concrete slabs, climbing frames, ponds, dams and almost anything in between. Because it’s non-toxic, it’s ideal for those thatched roofs that always seem to attract the neighbours’ nosey little children and birds looking for nesting material.

“Our product is unique because it doesn’t crack and is designed to resist all weather conditions. It’s also very flexible, which guarantees that it won’t crack and you won’t have to spend any money on your roof for the next 10 years,” he explained.

It comes as no surprise that this product already established a name for itself within the network of some well-known institutions. TCS has proudly left its mark on sizeable factories such as Magnum Packaging and Honey, as well as Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital to name just a few.

If you don’t reside in the West Rand area, don’t panic just yet. TCS has branches in Lephalale, Middelburg and Pretoria, as well as a contractor in the Pietermaritzburg area.

“We still want to expand all over South Africa, so we are open for franchises. With this said we are excited to announce that the waterproofer will be available as a DIY product in most hardware shops soon,” Mr Laubscher said.

They have also recently launched their much-anticipated, first of its kind TCS Silver Aluminium water-based waterproofer. This product is considered unique because of its aluminium-like appearance and latex feel.

“We only work for God – He gave us this opportunity. We are truly blessed to be able to do this and also touch the lives of others through what we do,” he said.

With the aim of giving back to the community, TCS is currently the proud sponsor of various schools and club rugby teams, and hopes to expand their involvement in this regard.

If you want to meet the friendly and passionate TCS team and see what their product is all about, feel free to visit them at 101 Roode Street in Burgershoop, Krugersdorp, give them a call on 010 597 7942 or send an email to info@thecradlesuperseal.co.za.
