Panorama Football Club growing the family with community-centric upgrades

Pathway to the future bright as old dirt road finally is tarred.

Custodianship is more than just direct involvement, but a well-timed investment in potential on and off the field.

Eager to match their progress on the pitch, Panorama Football Club has secured the backing of two local businesses which have the community they serve central to their ambitions. Household accessory giant West Pack Lifestyle and West Rand’s premier home cupboard manufacturers, Design A Door, have put their weight behind the continuously evolving football hub.

Any visitor or member of Panorama will be well acquainted with the long dirt road that leads from the main entrance to the clubhouse and parking area. That charming collection of stones and uneven sand are no more, as West Pack Lifestyle finally accomplished what all before had failed to achieve. A tar road now greets football lovers with a smooth ride to the epicentre of the facility, a cherry on top of the club’s off-field metamorphosis.

“This club is at the heart of the community we serve, and equipping our customers and their families to move forward is at the core of our business,” said Chris Da Silva, owner of West Pack Lifestyle. The project had been in the pipeline for roughly seven months and was completed during the forced mid-season break at the end of July. “This is a game-changer for us, it mirrors our intentions and our vision for the future,” said Panorama chairperson, Achileas Lambiris, hoping to create a warmer welcome for the community.

Helping brighten up things on the pitch, Arnold Jardim and Duarte de França of Design A Door have placed their focus on women’s football. The household carpenters are the new title sponsor for the women’s teams, which now sport the company’s striking lime green and black trim on their white kits. “When we came back here it just felt like home and we believe women’s football has massive potential for growth. We have been incredibly blessed so it is all about us paying it forward” said Arnold, Design A Door’s Managing Director.

Both companies have indicated that ‘the road hasn’t ended here’, leaving the door open for a long-term relationship. “We want to say a massive thank you to them both. These are family-based companies with a family ethos, and we hope together we can grow the Panorama family,” said Achileas.

The outward projection now mirrors the inward drive while inviting all to venture upward to be part of the experience.
