Get your jab this weekend at the Witpoortjie vaccination centre
The vaccination centre will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 to 14:00.
In an effort to play their part in the continuous fight against Covid-19, the Witpoortjie vaccination centre will be operating during the weekend of September 18 and 19.
Rose Legwale, the Region C clinics manager confirmed this, saying, “We will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 to 14:00. As it is also voter registration weekend, we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to get vaccinated before the IEC elections.”
She reminded residents that those 18 years and older are eligible to be vaccinated, and said, “You do not have to register before you come, we accept walk-ins and will help you through the process. However, those who have already contracted Covid-19 should wait a minimum of 35 days after their symptoms have cleared, before they receive their vaccine.”
The vaccination centre is situated at the Witpoortjie Recreational Centre, 824 Vermooten Road, Princess, opposite Hoërskool Die Adelaar.
