Local beauty moves a step closer to the title
Members of the community can vote for Louwella to secure a spot in the top10 as this year's People's Choice Award winner.
Mrs Universe Africa 2021 pageant finalist, Louwella Moeti has moved a step closer to clinching the title when the top 20 finalists were announced on Tuesday, August 24.
Tickets for the Grand Finale that will be taking place on Heritage Day, September 24 at 17:00 at the Barnyard Menlyn have already been sold out.
The Ruimsig resident and mother of two has been married to Moeketsi Moeti for 13 years, and has an honours degree in Communication. Currently she is doing her masters of management in the field of strategic marketing.
“African women are multifaceted, a force to be reckoned with; strong, beautiful, intelligent, hustlers, leaders, yet loving.
“Greatness comes from the desire to do extraordinary things, to reach beyond the status quo and relentlessly chase your dreams,” said Louwella.
Mrs Universe Africa is a platform to give African women their power back and to celebrate their diversity.
It is a women-empowerment project and a network for real and relatable women to showcase their talent and harness their purpose.
The winner of Mrs Universe Africa will go on to represent the continent at the international Mrs Universe Pageant.
“Congratulations to all the ladies who have made the top 20, and to all the women who were part of the journey; your story should continue and we wish you all the best in your endeavours. Keep raising your flags and Africa’s flags high,” said Mrs Universe Africa Director, Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will automatically secure their spot into the top 10.
