Members of the public and avid shoppers will be happy to know that the Red Fox Market is making a comeback on September 4 and 5. The market has an eclectic energy of vendors selling from food and music to arts and crafts.

Hillfox Centre Marketing Manager, Stan Mbatha said entry to the market is free and people can enjoy live entertainment by local talent, food, a fun area for the kids, and endless rounds of shopping. “For over two decades, the Red Fox Market has become firmly entrenched as the go-to destination for weekend wonders, family friendly entertainment, food and stunning crafts in Roodepoort.” He added that traders are encouraged to showcase their products, talents and services.

The Market runs every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 16:30 at Hillfox Value Centre. It was temporarily closed in the wake of the third coronavirus wave after President Cyril Ramaphosa moved the country to adjusted level 4 lockdown.
