City Power vending challenges resolved

On Thursday, July 29 the utility’s external service provider experienced technical difficulties which affected several applications, including vending and meter reading.

City Power’s internet challenge has reportedly been rectified and customers can now buy electricity units. On Thursday, July 29 the utility’s external service provider experienced technical difficulties which affected several applications, including vending and meter reading.

Isaac Mangena, City Power’s spokesperson said, “All of those services are now up and running. The third-party service provider is still investigating the cause and working with our technical team. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to the customers.”
