STINT is calling on members of the community to contribute in any way they can towards their outreach programme that will assist communities affected by the recent spate of looting. Supporting Those In Need Together (STINT) is an NPO based in Weltevreden Park that assists disadvantaged communities with food, clothing and career-guidance support, among other.
Co-founder, Adeline Singh said, “We are extremely saddened by the unrest and extreme acts of violence and criminality around the country, particularly in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, most of all the impact that these unrests have had on the lives of fellow South Africans.”
The organisation started the outreach programme to support communities gravely affected by the looting and are on the brink of running out of food. Residents in the area and beyond are urged to contribute or donate as much as they can, and assist their fellow countrymen to rebuild.
