Teaching does not need to be limited to textbooks and blackboards, but should rather include fun school activities for children. Then learning in school becomes an interesting and enjoyable exercise.-

The King’s School West Rand kicked off their Annual Fun Week on Monday, 24 May with learners and teachers attending school in their favourite sleepwear – mainly dressing gowns and slippers.-

Blankets were also donated on the day and will be handed over to a chosen charity.-

As part of the Annual Fun Week, Tuesday was dedicated to Funky Hat Day that saw learners and teachers once again coming to the party with a variety of colourful and Disney-character hats.-

Wednesday saw learners dressed up like their teachers, and teachers dressed up like learners, with some of the learners going to the extent of stuffing their stomachs to mimic a pregnant member of staff.-

To close off a successful Annual Fun Week, on Thursday, 27 May the school held a Polar Bear Swim for all the kids to walk through the swimming pool in shorts or in rolled-up pants.
