The much-needed funds that were raised from the event will go towards upgrading the school’s playgrounds. Spokesperson of the Fundraising Office, Debbie Pickett said. “The event was very successful and we would like to thank all our sponsors and golfers that participated. Upgrading our playgrounds is an ongoing project.”

Director at JBHC, Elizma Kempen whose law firm had sponsored a hole, said being attorneys, this was a part of their responsibility to society to get involved. “It is for a very good cause. I think the school provides a great service to the disabled community, and I think they need as much support as they can actually get.”
