City Power warns of upcoming internet service interruption

City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by the upgrade.

City Power has announced that it will be upgrading the SharePoint environment on Friday the 23 April at 8pm. Access to the internet service will be affected.

“The upgrade is necessary to optimize SharePoint from the 2013 version to the 2016 version in line with City Power’s upgrade strategy. The version will be upgraded to the 2019 version in due course,” City Power said.

The Internet upgrade will affect the following service:

  • Fault Logging.
  • Vender Portal Invoice upload.
  • Tender or Customer related information.

The service interruption will be from 8pm on 23 April, until 10am on Saturday 24 April.

Customers are advised to load enough electricity units prior to this.

Alternative options available during the downtime period to log a call include:
