Shock turns to anger but a little glimmer of hope remains.
A 1976 red Datsun 120y was stolen from the parking lot of the Total garage on Ham Street on 20 April. Footage shows men from what appears to be a white Renault hatchback creep from their vehicle towards the easy to distinguish, 45-year-old refurbished family heirloom. The suspects then drive their new toy down Ham Street toward Trezona Avenue.

Various security companies and police are on the lookout and the vehicle has been spotted in the vicinity of the corner of Van Wyk Street and Currue Street shortly before 10am. The vehicles registration is CXN322GP, has thin wheels and cracked rear boot lid.
Should anyone have additional information on the vehicle, please call Roodepoort police as soon as possible.
