A sweet gesture to local frontline workers

“This was to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication to society,” said Theresa Jennings from the school.

Agape Christian School decided to show appreciation to the heroes and heroines of Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital for their selfless acts in dedicating their lives to saving others infected by the deadly coronavirus.

As a gesture to the frontline workers, the Weltevreden Park-based school collected money and bought succulents for the private hospital’s staff.

The succulents with a thank you note ready for delivery.
