For over a year, the Chatroom members have not been under one roof because of the coronavirus.

With social gatherings now permitted by the government, the West Rand Chatroom excitingly announced the reconvening of their intimate cancer-related meetings.
For over a year, the Chatroom members have not been under one roof because of the coronavirus.

“There is wonderful news I wish to share. I wish to announce that we are now allowed to gather again. The first meeting will be on 20 March, and we really wish to see each and every one of your after this long period,” Chrissie ten Krooden, the founding member of the group extended the invitation.

The purpose of the Chatroom, according to Chrissie, is to provide help and guidance to cancer survivors and caregivers by means of talks, experiences and expert advice from professionals.

“The meeting will start at 10am at the Constantia Kruin church hall (same place). All Covid-related rules will be followed, including the wearing of a mask,” she said.
