Roodepark School welcomes new teachers for 2021

Stepping up to accept the unique calling, educators can hold the future of a young person in their hands.

Roodepark School is welcoming eight new faces to their already stellar faculty. The school specialises in a Technical Occupational Curriculum (TOC) as well as the Differentiated Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (DCAPS). Learners of the school no longer progress through grades, but levels starting at one through to five.

Psychometrist, Amy Davison, and Educational Psychologist, Nomsa Malatsi, join Juané Kotzé as the three new additions to the Psychological Services department of the school. Marnus Bobbert and Sean Botha are the male additions, with Sean bringing expert woodwork skills and Marnus joining the level-two TOC team.

Monique Prins joins DCAPS level one and two, while Anke Visser takes up a role in TOC level one. Elzette Peens rounds out the new recruits, working in DCAPS level one. Roodepark School Deputy Principal, Chris Coetzee, is delighted with the new staff members. He beamed, “We are very happy that they have joined us. They are an incredibly enthusiastic bunch and we look forward to them becoming an important part of the Roodepark family.”
