Roodepoort Police Station open and ready to assist after Covid-19 decontamination

All processes have been followed and the station is now fully operational

As the holidays end and the government reports a sharp increase in positive coronavirus tests, some of the community’s most vital institutions will inevitably be affected.

In order to deal with an unconfirmed number of coronavirus cases, Roodepoort Police Station was closed temporarily on 10 January in line with mandated protocols. All measures have been implemented to the letter and the station has now been reopened, ready to serve the community.

“The building has been decontaminated and the station is fully operational again. Police management apologises for any inconvenience that may have arisen from this,” stated Roodepoort Police spokesperson, Captain Juanita Yorke.
