Four left injured in 14th Avenue motor vehicle collision

According to ER24 Communications Officer Russel Meiring, one of the patients was found seated inside one vehicle while three other patients were found walking around on the scene.

On Wednesday, 16 December four people were left injured following a motor vehicle collision that included three cars on the N1 highway near the 14th Avenue off-ramp in Constantia Kloof.

Several Emergency services including ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found a bakkie and two light motor vehicles in the fast and middle lane.

According to ER24 Communications Officer, Russel Meiring, one of the patients was found seated inside one vehicle while three other patients were found walking around on the scene.

Medical personnel assessed the patients and found that one had sustained serious injuries while three others, including a three-year-old boy, had sustained moderate injuries.

Before the patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further care, they were treated for their injuries on the scene.

Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) including local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
