WATCH: Courier vehicle driver’s behaviour after robbery raises eyebrows

Both suspects are seen cleaning out the vehicle while the driver remains in his seat.

Footage of yet another armed robbery involving a courier vehicle has emerged on social media. Suburban Control Services posted it on Facebook.

According to the security company, the white Nissan unbranded bakkie was robbed on Van Bergen Street in Ruimsig on Thursday, 15 October.

The footage shows the courier vehicle driving onto the driveway of what looks like a residential complex. While the driver punches in the code to enter, a blue VW Polo stops directly behind the bakkie, and in a very quick move, an armed man accosts the driver and appears to be making certain demands. An accomplice comes out to help the robbers and seemingly takes the keys to open the back of the bakkie.

Both suspects are seen cleaning out the vehicle while the driver remains in his seat. However, what raises eyebrows was the thumbs-up signal the driver gave as the suspected robbers drove off.
