Join Horison Blockwatch for a Saturday clean-up

Everyone who participates qualifies for a free boerewors roll and cold drink when handing in a filled rubbish bag.

Residents in the area have noticed a serious decline in the cleanliness of the parks on the corner of Andries Bruyn and Swart Streets. The parks have become a dumping ground for lazy contractors dumping building rubble and uncaring passers-through who litter.

Please join Horison Blockwatch (HBW) on Saturday 10 October at 10am on the corner of Andries Bruyn and Swart Streets in Horison. Members from Horison Blockwatch will clean up the litter in both parks. The public is invited to join, and meet the people who care for the community.

Everyone who participates qualifies for a free boerewors roll and cold drink when handing in a filled rubbish bag. Refuse bags and rubbish collection, as well as security companies, will be available on site. There will be stands where community members who want to know more about HBW can talk to blockwatch members and patrollers. Masks will be mandatory and social distancing will apply.

Come and join HBW for a day in the sun, meet your neighbours and blockwatch, while participating in a good cause. If you need any more info, contact Zanoni Labuschagne by phone on 066 304 3131 or email at pro@horisonblockwatch.co.za.
