WATCH: Lockdown does not stop paddlers from training

Lockdown has been tough on people who enjoy participating in outdoor sports and canoeists were no exception.

The nationwide lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic has been tough on every citizen, but maybe even more so on those who enjoy participating in outdoor sport.

This has been especially true for paddlers and canoeists from the Florida Lake Canoe Club (FLCC), as they were not allowed to visit their favourite body of water for their daily/ weekly paddle.

But, the paddlers did not allow this stumbling block to get them down, and came up with creative ways to still enjoy their sport, with many of them using their swimming pools and bungee cords to keep their fitness levels up, while still being able to take their boats out onto the water.
