More than 4 000 meals donated to the hungry

An anonymous donor sent a truck loaded with vegetables, which were then donated to those in the community who need it.

here is a saying, ‘a good deed brightens a dark world’, and this saying has never been more true.

On Wednesday morning, 15 April, a truck loaded with 580 bags of butternut and 560 bags of cabbage arrived at the Krugersdorp Fire Station – amounting to more than 4 000 meals.

President Hyper sent a fork lift to help unload the vegetables.

Friends of Mogale Response Services and Disaster Management volunteers made sure these donations were given to those who need it most.

President Hyper donated a forklift to unload the vegetables, and volunteers then stacked their vehicles with it before handing it out in Krugersdorp West, Munsieville and Venterspos.

A little goes a long way, and this may be a great opportunity for other companies that are in a position to help, to fill a few tummies as well.
