Video: Cheering in solidarity with essential services

The residents showed their appreciation to all the essential-services workers, security companies and emergency services by coming out in their numbers to support #ECSecurity and Vitalmed Emergency Response who did a short drive in the area.

Thursday night, 2 April saw the members of the Panorama Residents Association (PRA) and Weltevreden Park Resident’s Association (WRA) together with non-members coming out in their numbers to clap, cheer, whistle and blow vuvuzelas to support the essential services.

“These are the heroes that are keeping us safe every day. All of us stood in our driveways clapping, singing and cheering in solidarity with our essential services, said PRA chairperson, Dave Baxter.

“We just want to thank every single person out there who looks after us during this time; you are doing what a lot of people fear to do, and for that we thank you,” said Dave.
