Mogale City Ward 39 councillor, Zillah Maguire has expressed appreciation to a Good Samaritan who supplied fresh drinking water to residents.
“Thank you to Ian Woolley from African Box Works for assisting local residents with clean, safe water during this difficult time. The water tank is situated on Russel Road and is a huge blessing to local residents who have no water supply,” she said.
She also reminded those who will be collecting the water to adhere to the social-distancing protocol.
“Please note that those collecting water need to please keep a distance from each other, and only draw water one person at a time.”
“Please do not waste water and only collect as much as you need. Keep safe; let’s all work together and help our neighbours,” Zillah urged.
