West Rand health workers screen community for Covid-19

Members of the police and BCI Security personnel were among those at the stand outside Pinehaven Country Estate.

Health workers from the West Rand Department of Health spent several hours on Monday, 6 April, screening residents of Pinehaven for the coronavirus.

From the morning until 4pm, the nurses attended to everyone who wished to be screened for Covid-19. Members of the police and BCI Security personnel were among those at the stand outside Pinehaven Country Estate.

On the second day of screening in Muldersdrift, the West Rand health workers descended on Cradlestone Mall to screen patrons who felt they might have symptoms of the virus.

The screening at these pop-up stalls is free of charge, and should you show signs of having been in contact with the virus, the friendly nurses will refer you for further screening and testing.
