Trolley cleaning and disinfecting ensures customer safety
A large retail store in Weltevreden Park partnered with a company to clean, disinfect and sanitize their trolleys.
On Thursday, 26 March two companies showed just how much they value their customers and community by joining forces and insuring that sanitizing is done to the highest degree.
Palm Court Super Spar in Weltevreden Park partnered with a company called Steam Boss to clean, disinfect and sanitize their trolleys.
The activity commenced around 7am and again around 2pm.
“Palm Court Super Spar is taking extra measures to make sure our customers’ safety comes first. Our trolleys and baskets will be steam-cleaned every morning and afternoon,” said store owner Gregory Ioannou.
Members of the public can protect themselves and help prevent spreading the corona virus to others by washing their hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds, or by using an alcohol-based hand rub.
Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze, and avoid close contact (1 metre/ 3 feet) with people who are unwell.
Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell; and don’t touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean.
