Ngwenya market postponed

Due to the Coronavirus crisis many organisers have postponed their events in fear of compromising public health

Ngwenya Country Market in Muldersdrift issued a notice, informing all their vendors and market supporters that the market had been put on hold until further notice.

“The world is in an unprecedented situation dealing with Covid-19, and public health is everyone’s priority. That is why we will be cancelling the upcoming Ngwenya Country Markets until further notice,” said Athalie Brett from Ngwenya Glass Village.

Due to the Coronavirus crisis many organisers have postponed their events in fear of compromising public health.

“We are extremely grateful to all our supporters and look forward to seeing you all soon.

“During these testing times, please continue to try and support local independent businesses, stay strong, healthy and positive,” added Athalie.

Ngwenya Glass Village hosts a Country Market on the first Sunday of every month, featuring exclusive local vendors from all over Johannesburg.

They offer a range of arts, crafts, live music and delicious treats in a unique environment, allowing visitors to enjoy the outdoors with great food and a fun-filled atmosphere.
