Multiple faults at the Penny Street Substation have left the areas of Grobler Park, Princess, and surrounds without power.
City Power is currently on site attending to the issue, and has said that restoration is currently at 50 per cent. However, one cable still needs to be repaired before power can be restored, so power will remain off until the repairs have been completed.

No estimated time of restoration has been given, but technicians have narrowed it down to late this afternoon, or early this evening (24 March).
