Saturday, 14 March saw the launch and opening of the Redfox Market in the basement parking area at the Hillfox Value Centre.
The upgraded market is owned by Vukile Property Fund and managed by JHI Properties, and will be held every Saturday and Sunday.
The previous one was a typical semi-informal market, but now it has been upgraded and has a food court to allow a variety of food offerings.
Live entertainment has also been brought back to the market, and to attract more people and to reward the market’s loyal customers, there will be Wi-fi too.
On top of satisfying the taste buds, the public had the opportunity to explore hidden treasures, have fun in the kiddies play area with live music, and share their experience at the selfie wall.
“We offer free Wi-fi in the market area to assist the community, especially the youth, to come and make use of the internet while enjoying a cup of coffee or their favourite beverage,” said Elize Coetzee from Vukile Property Fund.
