Early morning collision leaves car on roof
No serious injuries reported but patient was taken to hospital.
One adult male was taken to hospital after rolling his vehicle along Constantia Boulevard just after midnight on Thursday, 12 March.
It is unclear whether the driver was intoxicated or not, but witnesses claim that he lost control of his vehicle on the undulating yet straight stretch of road. No serious injuries were reported but the vehicle did come to a rest among refuse bins full of uncollected waste.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst elaborated saying, “The patient, an adult male, sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene before being transported to hospital by private ambulance for further treatment”.
