Most of Ward 71 will be without power for about nine hours on Saturday, 7 March due to scheduled maintenance on the electrical network in the area.
As with all planned maintenance notices, City Power apologised for any inconvenience caused, but also reminded residents that the maintenance is essential to ensuring a decrease in trips, outages, and unplanned outages.
The outage will be effective from 7am to 4pm on the Saturday, and will affect the Reefhaven, Lindhaven, Grobler Park and Princess areas.
The power could return at any point during the day, so all supply points are to be treated as live at all times. City Power also reminded residents that this planned maintenance is subject to cancellation in the event of load-shedding on the same day.
