Show off your Pawsome Furkid

The Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA's photo competition is back, with the theme 'My Pawsome Furkid.'

Our pets are the family members that don’t talk back, the loved ones that never hurt us, and the special little souls that can always make us smile when we are sad.

It is the time of year when dog people and cat people can put their difference aside and help needy animals by showing off their own adorable fur babies.

The Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA’s photo competition is back, with the theme ‘My Pawsome Furkid.’ Do you have a furry baby that you think deserves recognition? Then this is your chance. You can send in photos of your pet and help a needy animal in the SPCA’s care at the same time.

Enter the competition with a photo of your baby, and you could win a one of a kind portrait of your fur kid, painted in oil by Gail Jones. Amazing prize hampers are also up for grabs and you can enter as many times as you want.

A donation of R100 is requested for each entry, and the closing date is 17 March. No entries of exotic pets or pets that are dressed up/ wearing clothes will be considered.

Your pet doesn’t need to have been adopted from an SPCA to be eligible, nor does he or she need to be a rescue. The competition is to show love for the needy animals in the SPCA’s care by showing off our adorable animals.

Nicole can be contacted at fundraiser@rdptspca.co.za.
