When you think of a garden party there is one important aspect (other than the garden) that make the event: the finger foods and refreshments.
Whether it be coffee, tea, and cake, or a picnic, if you picture a garden party, someone is always elegantly eating or drinking something, and what could be more elegant than wine and cheese.
Flowers, Seeds and Busy Bee’s will be hosting a wine and cheese garden party on 29 February in honour of some amazing local charities. The party will consist of exciting raffles, all plants at the nursery will be 20 per cent off, there will be a piano player and a public speaker, Halal food and more.
Tickets are being sold at R100 per person, R50 for pensioners, and free for children of 12 years old and younger. Each ticket includes a small bottle of wine (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) as well as a platter of cheese and biscuits, valued at over R100. All proceeds will go towards Multi-Charity, an organisation that supports several local charities.
The garden party will start at 4.30pm, at Flowers, Seeds, and Busy Bee’s, on Lockies Street in Florida.
