Honeydew CPF chairperson visits local high school

Mlauzi was accompanied by three Gideon International members together with Pastor Vuyani Gxagxama, and gave each one of the learners Bibles.

On Monday morning 24 February, Honeydew CPF Chairperson Obert Mlauzi visited and shard a good lesson with 653 Grade 8 learners in Cosmo City Secondary School.

Mlauzi spoke to the learners about being a good citizen and also living a Godly life in the local community.

“There is so much room for us as CPF members to reach our communities, especially when they begin high school and face challenges of drugs, bullying and gangsterism,” said Mlauzi.

While addressing the learners, he stressed that it is time to speak against all the bad things that get our children down, and grow and empower them to become the adults we want them to be one day.

Mlauzi’s talk comes at a time when some of the local schools have been making news headline for all the wrong reasons.

“All thanks to Mlaudzi and his team. I always give a big ‘no’ to those who are selling drugs and alcohol to our young and innocent souls,” a community member said about Mlauzi’s visit.

Mlauzi was accompanied by three Gideon International members together with Pastor Vuyani Gxagxama, and gave each one of the learners Bibles.

The main role of the Honeydew CPF is to notify the community of crime trends in Honeydew and enable communication with CPFs, the police and JMPD.
