Two vehicles collide at Corlett-Ontdekkers intersection
Motorcyclists lucky to be left with no injuries
The manic intersection of Corlett Avenue and Ontdekkers Road was again the scene of a high-speed accident on Tuesday, 25 February. The accident occurred just after 7am and led to lengthy delays in the morning traffic.
The collision involved two light motor vehicles and a motorcycle. Fortunately the motorcyclist escaped unharmed, but the two occupants of the light motor vehicles sustained moderate injuries. Alett Reed of Emer-G-Med confirmed the incident saying, “The patients are currently being treated on scene by Emer-G-Med and ER24 and will be transported to hospital”.
With gloomy conditions expected throughout Tuesday, motorists are urged to drive with caution, ensuring that they switch on their headlights to increase visibility.
