After being encouraged by the police to open a case, the Florida man did not waste time after being discharged from hospital where he received treatment for the wounds he sustained when his ex-friend stabbed him.
A close family member confirmed to the Record that Dustin Davids had laid charges against his assailant at the Florida Police Station.

The spokesperson for the station, Sergeant Mpho More confirmed the case, saying that the station is investigating a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (assault GBH).
The attack took place outside the residence of the victim on 7 February.
The member said now that a case has been opened, he expects the aggressor to be arrested. He also claimed that the aggressor may try to interfere with the case as he allegedly tried bribing their mother with a cash deal.
The aggressor is said to be the son of a prominent political figure who uses his father’s position to bully and get away with his wrongdoings.
