A large truck caused issues on the corner of Ouklip Avenue and Amaryllis drive after it jackknifed due to overloading and lack of maintenance.
No one was injured and currently the issue is not causing congestion because it is out of the road. The driver and the Roodekrans Neighbourhood Watch (RNW) have however finally found a way to tow the truck after experiencing issues throughout the day.
Once the truck is being towed however, RNW will need to close off CR Swart Road in order to get it up the hill. This will cause a lot of congestion so motorists are urged to find alternative routes on their way home from work.
