Two men arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle

Authorities can chalk up another win against criminal elements as Florida Police successfully apprehended two suspects and recovered a stolen vehicle on Friday, 7 February.

The Florida Police Crime Prevention unit received a tip-off from Apcan Security that a suspected stolen vehicle had been spotted at a residential complex in the area. Police responded to the report and found two men sitting in a beige Ford EcoSport. Further investigation confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen from the Linden area. Florida Police spokesperson, Sergeant Mpho More confirmed, “They were patrolling in 3rd Avenue and responded swiftly to the information in order to make the arrest.
