Eskom has declared the implementation of Loadshedding Stage 2 from tonight between 9pm and tomorrow Friday 6am.
However City Power would like to urge its customers within the City of Johannesburg not to panic as they will not be loadshedding.
City Power has an extra capacity to help mitigate against Loadshedding and offset the 200MW that Eskom seeks to save.
Therefore the residents and businesses in Johannesburg are cushioned from the impact of loadshedding Stage 2 as announced.
While City Power is not loadshedding today, they however urge their customers to continue using electricity sparingly as their systems remain under pressure.
