American actor, retired professional wrestler, former mixed martial artist and bodybuilder David Michael Bautista Jr was born on 18 January 1969 in Washington, D.C., United States.

Bautista began his wrestling career in 1999, and signed with the World Wrestling Federation in 2000.

He holds the record for the longest reign as World Heavyweight Champion at 282 days and has also won the World Tag Team Championship three times and the WWE Tag Team Championship once.

Bautista began acting in 2006 and has starred in The Man with the Iron Fists (2012), Riddick (2013), the James Bond film Spectre (2015), and Blade Runner 2049 (2017).

In August 2012, he signed a contract with Classic Entertainment & Sports to fight in mixed martial arts (MMA).

He won his lone MMA fight on 6 October 2012, defeating Vince Lucero via TKO in the first round.
