Sunday, 8 December will be a dark day for Roodepoort as most areas will be without power for the greatest part of the day.
The power interruption is necessitated by planned maintenance on substations, which is essential to keep the infrastructure safe and functional, as well as to prevent unplanned outages.
The interruption will be from 7.30am to 3.30pm, and the following 24 areas will be affected:
