The Weather Network is warning residents of a week of possible thunderstorms in the Roodepoort area.
• Friday, 8 November — Partly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching a max of 32° and a min of 18°. A 10 per cent chance of light showers with a wind blowing at a speed of 16km/h is predicted for the day.
• Saturday, 9 November — Partly cloudy skies with temperatures cooling down a little and reaching a max of 28° with a 65 per cent chance of a thunderstorm in the area, cooling down to min temperatures of 16° and wind coming in at 19km/h.
• Sunday, 10 November — Somewhat sunny skies with a 55 per cent chance of rain. Temperatures reaching a maximum of 24° and a minimum of 15° complemented by a 19km/h wind.
• Monday, 11 November — Sunny day will heat up to max temperatures of 27° an cool down to a min of 16°. Wind coming in at a speed of 23km/h with a 40 per cent chance for rain.
• Tuesday, 12 November — Sunny day leading to cloudy skies with a 60 per cent chance of thunderstorms with temperatures reaching a max of 27° and a min of 15° complemented with a 17km/h wind.
• Wednesday, 13 November — Cloudy skies with a 80 per cent chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures will reach a max of 22° and a min of 15° with wind coming at a 20km/h speed.
• Thursday, 14 November — Another cloudy day is predicted with a 90 per cent chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures will reach a max of 23° and a min of 13° with wind speed at 14km/h.
