The public are urged to share any information they have relating to a robbery that took place at a barbershop on Naomi Street, Florida, on Sunday, 3 November.
The brazen criminals entered the barbershop at roughly 5pm on Sunday evening. One armed suspect and an accomplice robbed the store while their getaway car waited outside. The suspects made off with R1 300 and a cellphone. Florida Police’s spokesperson, Sergeant Mpho More, confirmed the incident.

The suspects are unknown but the owner of the Mumbai Express Barbershop, Jacques Botha, shared screenshots of his CCTV footage. A light grey VW Jetta was used in the robbery and anyone with any knowledge of this vehicle and the suspects is asked to come forward. Any information can be shared with the police on 011 831 7000.
Sergeant More relayed station commander Colonel Mulligan’s assertion that she will not rest until the suspects are arrested. The Florida Police are working hard to stop anyone trying to terrorise the residents of Florida.
