They returned this morning, 30 October, to assess the situation further and determine the safest, most effective way to rectify the issue of the damaged wall. Third Avenue was not barricaded as the actual bridge structure was not damaged, but while JRA was on site, the police blocked off the entrance to the bridge.

The JRA team removed the crumbling pieces of the damaged wall, which were subsequently replaced by temporary concrete structures. The large gap made by removing the damaged pieces has been filled with sturdy concrete to prevent any injury or accidents that may occur.
