Bakkies stands tall at Hirsch’s

Bakkies talked to the fans about what inspired and motivated him to become a professional rugby player.

 

Bakkies Botha recently visited Hirsch’s Strubens Valley and was given a warm reception in the store by Hirsch’s team members and fans.

He signed rugby balls and water bottles for the fans, and took some time out to talk to them.

He give them some much appreciated advice and the fans also left with printed and signed photographs.

The lengthy former Springbok said, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Bakkies talked to the fans about what inspired and motivated him to become a professional rugby player.

Bakkies met with a boy who is aspiring to be a professional rugby player when he grows up and presented him and his sister with signed shirts and rugby balls.

Public Relations Officer, Marjone Barnard said, “Hirsch’s is very happy to be a part of this and being able to ensure that we could make this a special experience in our store for all the fans. The customers were excited to meet him and the store had such a great vibe. Bakkies was also interviewed by the MC on the day and then continued meeting fans until his time was unfortunately up.”
