Ngwenya to host two more markets

The market celebrated its third year in August. This remarkably successful venture was founded by two friends, Viv Prettejohn and Tina Berti.

 

The Ngwenya Country Market fanatics have only two visits left for 2019 before the organisers take a break for the festive seasons.

The market takes place every first Sunday of each month – 3 November and 1 December have been announced as the last two markets for the year.

The events attract visitors from all over the country to have fun in the sun and listen to fabulous music while trying out delicious food and cocktails from talented vendors, some of which showcase their wares.

“During 2019 some really great musicians performed at the market. These included Jaques Lagesse, Mike the Guitar Man, Ben Piet van Zyl and the two fabulous groups KT Project and Lemon ‘N Limelight,” said Athalie Brett, the marketing coordinator.

She added that every year in the Spring the market supports the SPCA. “Viv is a great animal lover and very happy to make a regular contribution to animal welfare,” she said,
