Dynamic speakers of Trinity House

The three learners certainly proved that these competitions regularly attract crowds and that competition is part of every culture.

 

The top three dynamic speakers from Trinityhouse Little Falls who won the schools’ inter-house public speaking competition joined the Florida Toastmasters Club on Tuesday to showcase their talent.

The meeting was opened by the President of the club, Victor Chewe, who welcomed members, guests, and visitors and shared the word of the day.

The first speaker up was Grade 4 learner, Charl Erasmus, with his speech entitled ‘Respect animal rights as you respect the rights of humanity’.

Grade 6 learner, Hannah Glaser, followed with her entertaining speech entitled ‘The three biggest lies at school’.

The last speech was from Grade 7 learner, Keira Bleksley, who delivered a well-presented talk entitled ‘Why self-love is not selfish’.

Keira said, “Do your best and it will be good enough, love yourself or no one else will.”

General Evaluator, Dawn Hemming said, “Thank you all for coming along, tonight it really was our honour. We hope that next year we can again come and assist you with your competition, we really do enjoy it.”
