The word of the day for 20 October is: Intelligence.

‘Intelligence’ is defined as the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. When people refer to intelligence, they are referring to either the amount of knowledge you have or the ability to apply that knowledge.

It is not only academic; intelligence can also be shown when good decisions are made that are beneficial to either something or someone.

Henry Ford said, “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.”

Failure is inevitable, we just need to have the intelligence to learn from it and try a new method if one continues to fail. We cannot do the same thing over and over again and expect the outcome to be different; that is literally the definition of insanity.

We need to aim to continuously grow in all aspects; emotionally, academically, and socially.

Albert Einstein said, “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.”
