Ward 70 councillor expressed his apologies on Facebook for not informing the residents about the outage before hand, as he usually would.
A recent press release from City Power had stated that substation maintenance would be susspended during load shedding, but as there was no scheduled load shedding in these areas today, the maintenance continued.
According to Councillor Finn, power should be restored by 4pm. He expressed his sincerest appologies and promised to keep Ward 70 updated with the progress of the maintenance. At about midday he will be posting on Facebook in regards to if the maintenance team is running on schedule.
