A water supply pipe coming from the Constantia Kloof Tower has burst, affecting the water supply of residents in Florida Hills, Florida Park and a few surrounding areas.
Ward 70 Councillor Caleb Finn released an update on the situation saying that the pipe is taking longer than expected to drain, which is effecting the repair time.
An additional pump is being brought in to drain the pipe completely but the exact time of repair is not yet known.
According to Councillor Finn, although the exact time cannot be given, water should be restored late tonight, 15 October.
