The alleged robbery at the Game Lounge on the corner of Generaal Pienaar Avenue and Ham Street, in Witpoortjie on 11 October is under investigation.
Three unidentified men, two of them armed, entered the shop at about 11.50am. They pushed the customers into the kitchen area, and went on to ransack the shop.

According to an eyewitness, one of the robbers fled the scene first, carrying a handbag that was filled with the stolen goods. He returned, and all of them then escaped with an undisclosed amount of money and other valuables.
According to the Roodepoort Police Station spokesperson, Captain Juanita Yorke, no arrests have been made yet. “A case has been opened at the Roodepoort Police Station and it is currently under investigation. The detectives are hard at work, following up all leads received.
