Women grow their businesses through Hirsch’s programme

The networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their businesses in a 60-second elevator pitch

Hirsch’s Strubens Valley recently hosted its monthly women’s networking meeting, with Louis Nigrini from InSense Dynamix the guest speaker for the day.

According to Hirsch’s public relations officer, Marjone Barnard, Louis focused on individual DISC assessments which consist of Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance. He elaborated on the fact that no two people on earth think alike and problems arise when we assume people have the same vision as ours.

During his presentation, Louis explained, “Everyone has a different superpower and if you understand their power you will know how to approach them. You need to ask yourself who this individual is and how best I can speak a language that they will understand”.

Louis simplified his presentation by sharing a work-related example. “If you are a fast-paced goal-orientated person and you are working with a slow detail-oriented person, you need to be aware of how they process information and what information they need to go over to action,” he advised.

After the session, the networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their businesses in a 60-second elevator pitch. This was followed by a lucky draw, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying refreshments.

Marjone concluded by inviting enthusiasts to join the Hirsh’s networking events to contact her at marjone@hirschs.co.za or call 083 456 5387.
